Kick-Off Press Conference for the 2008 Symphony Guild’s Showhouse and Gardens Presented by Bank of America
September 4, 2007 (JACKSONVILLE, FL) – The Jacksonville Symphony Guild announces its first ever kick-off press conference for the annual Symphony Guild’s Showhouse and Gardens, presented in 2008 by Bank of America.
The press conference will be held on Tuesday, September 11th at 10 a.m. in Pablo Creek Reserve’s Central Park. Pablo Creek Reserve is located just west of the Intracoastal Waterway and south of J. Turner Butler Boulevard.
The press conference will offer the first viewing of the 6,000 square-foot home that will function as next year’s Showhouse and Gardens. This beautiful home, which is already well underway, will feature two stories and a guest house and will be priced around $3 million. Honored attendees and speakers for the press conference will include Laura Mathewson, President of the Symphony Guild, Phillip Pan of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Elwood Collier of Collier Classic Homes and Jed Davis and Vikki Stockton of Pablo Creek Reserve.
The 2008 Showhouse will be completed in time for the public opening, which will run from April 19th 2008 through Mother’s Day on May 11, 2008. The much-anticipated Showhouse is the key fundraiser each year for the Symphony Guild, and proceeds from the showing of the home go back to the Symphony Guild to help fund the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra for future years.
